David M. Lusher Taken By Death
Funeral Services Sunday Afternoon From Residence, Pershing Street
ELLWOOD CITY, July 27. - David M. Lusher, aged 88 years of 312 Pershing street, Ewing Park, passed away at his home Friday evening at 6 o'clock, from infirmaries of old age.
Mr. Lusher had been a resident of Ellwood, for a period of 40 years, and was highly respected. He was a member of the Orange lodge of Ellwood. His wife died 10 years ago.
Surviving are the following daughters and sons: Mrs. Elizabeth Bowden, of East Brook; Mrs. Harris Sumner of Ellwood City; Mrs. E. V. Householder, of Knox; James R. Lusher, Ellwood City and Charles M. Lusher, of Ellwood City. He also leaves a brother, Miles Lusher, of Rockland, Pa., eleven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Sunday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock, from the home 312 Pershing street, with Rev. T. H. Carson, pastor of the First Methodist church in charge.
Interment will be made in the Locust Grove cemetery.

Last Rites For David M. Lusher
ELLWOOD CITY, July 29 - At the home of his son, Charles M. Lusher, 312 Pershing street, Ewing Park with whom he resided funeral services were held on Sunday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock for David M. Lusher who died on Friday evening after an extended illness.
Rev. T. H. Carson, pastor of the First Methodist church, officiated at the rites, which were largely attended by relatives and friends. Many floral tributes evidenced the esteem and affection of which he was held.
With grandsons, Clarence and Willard Bowden, Harry Lusher, Dr. Harold Sumner, Lawrence Sumner, and Norman Cotton, as pallbearers, interment was made in Locust Grove cemetery.

Funeral Services For Mrs. Lusher
ELLWOOD CITY, Dec. 9.-Funeral services for Mrs. Margaret A. Lusher, aged 72, who passed away Saturday afternoon at her home in North Sewickley, took place this afternoon from her late home, with Rev. Robert Little of the M. E. church officiating.
A large number of sorrowing friends and relatives attended the impressive services and a wealth of lovely flowers gave mute testimony as to the high regard of the community toward Mrs. Lusher.
She is survived by her husband, David M. Lusher; two sons, James and Charles, both of this city; three daughters, Mrs. E. C. Bowden of New Castle and Mrs. Harris Summer and Mrs. Ernest Householder of this city; also 11 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Burial took place in the North Sewickley cemetery.
