Death Claims Charles Lusher
A heart attack proved fatal to Charles M. Lusher, aged 60, of 312 Pershing street, who died suddenly at 5:15 a.m. Wednesday at his residence.
He was born in Mercer county August 1, 1894, a son of the late David M. and Margaret Forbes Lusher. He was employed at the National Tube Co. until his retirement two years ago.
Besides his widow, the former Lissa Walters, he leaves a son, Harry M. Lusher of Ellport; two daughters, Mrs. Margaret Eiler of Zelienople and Mrs. Bertha Falen of Fairless Hills; three grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Bertha Householder of Plan Knox Plan, Mrs. Harris Sumner of Ellwood City and Mrs. Elizabeth Bowden of New Castle and a brother of James of Ellwood City.
The body will be taken to the J. I. Porter and son funeral home, Fifth street. Funeral arrangements are indefinite.

ELLWOOD CITY - Mrs. Lissa M. Walters Lusher, 92, of 271 Guilford Road, Fairless Hills, Pa., formerly of 314 Pershing St., died at 10:30 a.m., Oct. 11, at Buckingham Valley Nursing Home, Buckingham.
She was born June 24, 1888 in West Sunbury to William and Margaret McClymonds Walters, who preceded her in death. She was married to Charles M. Lusher, who preceded her in death in 1955. Mrs. Lusher was a member of First United Methodist Church and the Friendship Circle Sunday School class.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Harry (Margaret) Eiler of Zelienople and Mrs. Paul (Bertha) Falen of Fairless Hills; one brother, Ira D. Walters of Wampum RD 1, and three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, one son, Harry M., preceded her in death in 1973.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Turner Funeral Home, 500 Sixth St. A service at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home will be conducted by the Rev. Ralph W. Martin, formerly of First United Methodist Church. Interment will follow at Locust Grove Cemetery.

Mrs. Lissa Lusher, 92, dies
Mrs. Lissa M. Lusher, 92, of 271 Guilford Rd., Fairless Hills, formerly of 314 Pershing St., died at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in the Buckingham Valley Nursing Home in Buckingham, Pa.
She had been ill seven months.
A daughter of the late William and Margaret McClymonds Walters, she was born June 24, 1888, in West Sunbury and came to Ellwood City in her youth. She resided here until moving four years ago to Fairless Hills.
Mrs. Lusher had continued her membership in the First United Methodist Church and in the Friendship Circle Sunday School Class.
Her husband, Charles M. Lusher, died in 1955 and a son, Harry M. Lusher, died in 1973.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Harry (Margaret) Eiler of Zelienople and Mrs. Paul (Bertha) Falen of Fairless Hills; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a brother, Ira D. Walters of RD 1, Wampum.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow at the Turner Funeral Home, where the funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday. The Rev. Ralph W. Martin of Beaver Falls, former pastor of the First United Methodist church, will preside. Burial will be in Locust Grove Cemetery.
