General Notes: Husband - John McLaughlin


He was a native of Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, but grew up in Jefferson County. After his marriage he purchased a tract of land in Clover township, to which he added as his means permitted, and made his home there until his death, at the age of seventy-three years. Most of his time was spent in farming; he also carried on lumbering.
He and his wife were members of the Methodist Church.
