General Notes: Husband - George Pentz

The Pentzes can claim relationship to the royal family of England. His great-grandfather married a German duchess. His father came from Germany at an early date, and located in York County, Pennsylvania, where he purchased several large tracts of land. [CBRCP-CCJC, 1657]
There is confusion in this source about which generation this applies to:
He was a son of an Englishman who married into an old German family and settled in the Fatherland. [CBRCP-CCJC, 1029]

He was born in York County, Pennsylvania, and was married there. He then purchased a farm in Franklin township, York County, about twenty miles southwest of the county-seat, and made his permanent home there, conducting a large distillery, while managing his farm.
