General Notes: Husband - John Pentz

---

He was a native of York County, Pennsylvania, and removed to Luthersburg, Clearfield County, in 1836.

His father purchased 300 acres of land in Brady township, Clearfield County, Pennsylvania, for his sons. In 1837 he and his brothers, Jacob and Andrew, and their father, came to Clearfield County to clear and improve their land.

He moved to Clearfield County with his brothers, Andrew and Jacob. He settled on fifty acres of partly-improved land in Brady (later Sandy) township, near the town of Luthersburg. The place was later known as the Milton Miles farm. He made extensive improvements, erecting buildings, and at his death had a good estate.
