General Notes: Husband - Abraham Patterson

---

He was born in Ireland, and came with his parents to America in 1823. They settled in Mercer County, Pennsylvania, but in 1829 came to Allegheny County, where they afterward resided.

He was a contractor and builder; he and his brother Isaac, under firm name of I. & A. Patterson, were for many years among the most prominent contractors and builders in Allegheny County. He was a member of the U. P. Church.

He was born in County Down, Ireland, and when two years of age accompanied his parents to America and located in Mercer County, Pennsylvania. Abraham Patterson removed to Allegheny City in 1825, there spent the remainder of his life, and was engaged in building and timber manufacturing. He served in the councils of Allegheny City and Manchester.

Besides the children listed there were four others that died in infancy.
