General Notes: Husband - David Leslie Patterson
He spent practically his entire life in Allegheny City, Pennsylvania, where he was engaged in the manufacture and sale of lumber. He served as councilman from the sixth ward for some years, and for a number of years was school director for the fifth ward. He was president of the Standard building and loan association, and a member of the Sixth United Presbyterian church, of which organization he was a member of the board of trustees for twenty-one years.

She was a cousin of William Dean Howells, the novelist.
