General Notes: Husband - Killian Ambrose McDowell

---

He was born at the homestead farm, was educated in the public schools, and until his father's death was his assistant to the extent of his ability, not then having reached his fifteenth year. After the death of the head of the family, he became his mother's chief assistant, and until the spring of 1917 he remained on the farm. He then retired and lived in Ligonier. He was a member of Pleasant Grove Presbyterian Church, and a Republican in politics.
