General Notes: Husband - William Widdowson


He located on his farm in 1865. His saw, lath and shingle mill was erected in 1868, on Straight run. It was supplied with a "Burnham" turbine wheel and a circular saw. Its capacity was five thousand to six thousand feet of boards per day.
