Joseph, John, Andrew, and Henry are also thought to be the children of Peter Smail and his wife, Elizabeth [Unk], but no proof has been found to back up this contention. What is known is that Peter, Sr., and Joseph lived in the same township in Northampton County before the former moved to Westmoreland County. Also, John, Jacob, Andrew, and Henry moved to Westmoreland County, as did Peter, Jr. There was also supposed to be a daughter in Peter, Sr.'s family, but nothing is known about her.
