General Notes: Husband - Elias Seaman
He was born in Berks County, Pennsylvania. He was a young child when he came to Harmony, Butler County, with his parents and there grew to manhood. He was apprenticed to learn the harness and saddlery trade and followed this occupation throughout his life. [GPHWP, 91]
For many years he was the proprietor of a saddler's shop in Harmony, Butler County, Pennsylvania, and was thus engaged at his death, and at one time owned a similar establishment in Darlington township, Beaver County, moving from that place in 1836.
