General Notes: Husband - Charles Goehring
He was born near the City of Strasbourg, Germany, and came with his parents to Butler County, Pennsylvania. He purchased a farm adjoining his father's, in Cranberry township, consisting of 200 acres, and, subsequently, was the owner of about 750 acres of farm lands in Cranberry, Muddy Creek and Worth townships, and was one of the most extensive farmers of his time. His death occurred in Cranberry township, upon the farm which he first settled. He was first a Whig, and later a Republican. In religion, he was a Lutheran, and filled the office of elder in that church for many years.
