General Notes: Husband - Nathaniel Ewing

Four brothers, John, Alexander, Henry and Samuel, came with their father, Nathaniel Ewing, to Cecil County, Maryland, in 1695. They left younger brothers behind them in Ireland. Thomas Ewing, who afterwards came to Pennsylvania, is thought to have been one of these, and he is said to have had two brothers who came to Long Island in 1718 from Ireland, and shortly afterward moved southward. Thomas Ewing was the father of Dr. Thomas Ewing, who wed a Marshall and was the father of Thomas Bedford Ewing, an eminent judge in Ohio at an early date.
