Per the source he settled in East Nottingham township, Cecil County, Maryland. near his brother Alexander. But East Nottingham township is in Chester County, Pennsylvania.

Of his famly, John, Moses and James are known only by name. The latter lived to be 94 years old and resided with a daughter who is said to have been his only child.
