William M. Ziegler.
William M. Ziegler, 80, 507 Moran Street, resident of Oil City for more than 50 years, died at the Oil City Hospital at 8:35 a. m. today. He had been a patient at the hospital since Oct. 18.
Born at Mapleshade, Dec. 29, 1857, he came to Oil City 51 years ago where he had resided since that time. He was a carpenter by trade and was well known here.
Mr. Ziegler was a member of the Grace M. E. Church and of the Men's Brotherhood of that church.
He is survived by his wife and the following children: Mrs. Byron Gotham and William Ziegler, Oil City; Mrs. C. J. Jones, Franklin; O. O. Ziegler, Pampa, Tex. Seventeen grandchildren and three great grandchildren also survive, as do the following brothers and sisters: J. F. Ziegler, Oil City; D. E. Ziegler, Erie; Mrs. Priscilla Heath, Watertown, N. Y.; Mrs. Annetta Schaffer, Tulsa, Okla., and Mrs. W. B. Schaffer, Oil City.
Funeral arrangements will be announced later.

We are sorry to hear of the illness and death of William M. Ziegler, aged 79, of Oil City. His first wife, who died some years ago, was Lizzie, daughter of Levi and Jane Shreffler Cropp, of our village and church. some of us enjoyed the cordial hospitality of the Ziegler home during past years.
