Funeral services in memory of Mrs. Ina Belle Steen were held at 2:30 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at the family home in Pinoak. Rev. G. A. Collin of the Evangelical church, officiating. Miss Gladys Biltz and William Taylor sang "The Old Rugged Cross" and "Sometime We'll Understand." Burial was made in Mt Pleasant cemetery, Pinoak, with the following acting as bearers: W. R. McAtee, Orin Bebee, John Irwin, Frank Bailey, J. Toy and George Spence. Mr. and Mrs. William Whitling, of Sharon, were among those in attendance at the funeral.
Mrs. Steen's death occurred at 12:45 a.m. Sunday at the Oil City hospital, where she had been a patient for the past few weeks. Death followed an illness which was critical since before the holidays.
Mrs. Steen was born in Oil City and was aged 40 years. All her life was spent here except the past few years when the family resided at Pinoak. Surviving are her husband and the following children: Edmond, Allie, Richard and Susan, all at home. She also leaves her father, William Ziegler, of Moran street, and the following brothers and sisters: Orril T. Ziegler, Ponca City, Okla.; Mrs. C. J. Jones, Franklin; William F. Ziegler and Mrs. W. B. Gotham, of Oil City.
