General Notes: Husband - Johan Peter Straub, Jr.

He came to Pennsylvania with his parents and his brother Jacob, and was probably raised on a farm in the area of Berks-Lehigh County, Pennsylvania. About 1760, he and his family had moved to the Penns-Washington township area in Northumberland (now Snyder) County, Pennsylvania. From 1770 to 1792, he lived on a 200 acre farm called "Heilbrun" in Penns township, three miles northwest of the present town of Freeburg.

He and his wife were thought to have nine children.

He died Sept 15. [DKM, 7]
