General Notes: Husband - Dr. Loyal W. Wilson

He began practicing medicine in Lawrence County, Pennsylvania, in 1890. After graduating he located at Wampum, Pennsylvania, at which place he practiced for a period of six years, after which he moved to New Castle.
He was a graduate of the Western University of Pennsylvania of the class of '91. Subsequent to his graduation, he was resident physician for a short period in the St. Francis Hospital of Pittsburgh.
After coming to New Castle, he took a post graduate course at the New York Post Graduate Medical College and gave surgery his principal attention.

He was a Mason of high degree and is also an Odd Fellow. Politically, he was a Republican and a member of the Board of U. S. Pension Examining Surgeons.
