General Notes: Husband - William Scott

He was by trade a shoemaker, who immigrated with his family to Philadelphia, PA, in 1783, worked at his trade in that city for fifteen years, and then removed to a farm in Lawrence County. He purchased 200 acres, and was among the pioneers of western Pennsylvania. He died on his farm in Lawrence County at an advanced age. He was a ruling elder of the Seceder church, and one of the founders of that society at Moundville, Lawrence County.
