General Notes: Husband - John Scott

He was only one year old when his parents settled in Philadelphia, PA. He learned the shoemaker's trade with his father and removed with him to Lawrence County, where he assisted him to clear the homestead farm. About 1820 he and his family removed to Lancaster township, Butler County, and settled on a farm there, where his son Francis M. would later reside. He and his wife were members of the Seceder church, and in politics, he was a Democrat, and an ardent Abolitionist. He served at Erie during the War of 1812.

General Notes: Wife - Rachel Morrison

She married and settled on a tract, near Camp Run, in Lawrence County, PA, where she resided until her death.
