General Notes: Husband - Joseph Jameson


After completing his own studies he began the work of instructing others and for about ten years taught during the months of the school year in the public schools of Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania. The intervals between terms he worked on the farm. After his marriage he abandoned teaching and engaged exclusively in agricultural pursuits. In politics he acted with the Republican party. The family were all Presbyterians.
