General Notes: Husband - William Morehead Hutchison
As a youth he assisted his parents in clearing and improving the farm, and attended school in the log school house of his neighborhood during the winter seasons. At the age of twenty-five years he married and settled on his own homestead, where he thereafter devoted his attention to agriculture. He was a Republican, in politics, filled the office of school director, and took quite an active interest in public affairs. He was the owner of ninety-four acres of well improved land, on which was located one of the best peach orchards in the county.
