General Notes: Husband - David Shields

---

He was of Scotch-Irish descent, his parents being early settlers in North Buffalo township, Armstrong County, Pennsylvania. He was a farmer in Armstrong County, but in 1870 removed to a farm in Livingston County, Missouri, where he died. He was of the Presbyterian faith.
