General Notes: Husband - Miles Fullerton

At the outbreak of the Civil War he enlisted in the Sixty-third Regiment, Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry, serving two years, then after a severe attack of fever and ague, and long confinement in the hospital, he was honorably discharged by reason of disability. Upon the completion of his education he had learned the carpenter's trade, and followed that to a greater or lesser extent throughout his life, although he also cultivated the farm of which he was the owner. In 1893 he removed to Wilkinsburg, Pennsylvania, and died of a stroke of apoplexy while working at his trade.
