General Notes: Husband - Jacob Irwin

---

He was born in Reading, Berks County, Pennsylvania, but spent his early years mainly in Clinton County. In 1826 he went to Clearfield County to engage in business as a tanner, and after following this successfully until 1835 he gave it up for agriculture, and passed his remaining years upon a farm.
