General Notes: Husband - James Connett

He immigrated to Morris township, Washington County, Pennsylvania, from New Jersey in 1801. Upon locating in Morris township he purchased what became known as the "Connett farm," six months after its entry, located one and one-half miles northeast of Prosperity. He was a weaver by trade, to which he gave his sole attention, and at one time he did all the weaving of linen and woolen goods in the southern part of the county.
