General Notes: Husband - William James Nelson

He obtained his educational training in an old stone schoolhouse in Carroll Township, Washington County, Pennsylvania, and ever since followed general farming and stock raising on a farm, which he purchased from his father-in-law, Enoch Colvin. The farm of 100 acres, was located about two and a half miles southwest of Monongahela City in Carroll and Fallowfield Townships. He was a native of Washington County, having been born on the home farm in Carroll Township.
