Perry Twp, Fayette Co, PA - a farmer

He attended the township schools until he reached the age of twenty-one, after which he was engaged in farming on the home place. He owned a valuable farm of two hundred and ten acres. He was an active member of the Christian church, of which he was a member for more than thirty years. Mr. Harris was a staunch Democrat.
