General Notes: Husband - Henry Clopp

He was born in Germany, and came in 1833 or 1834 to the United States. He took up his abode in Somerset, Somerset County, Pennsylvania, where for a number of years he was engaged in business as a distiller. For many years he was a member of the Lutheran church, but later united with the Evangelical. In politics he was a Democrat.
