General Notes: Husband - Francis Chapman


He was born in county Donegal, Ireland, and migrated to Pennsylvania in 1796, when about twenty-three years old. He settled near what is now Greenville, in 1804, and in 1814, on Two-lick, about ten miles below the "Diamond."

He was born in county Antrim, Ireland, 1771, and migrated to America when a young man. [HIC 1880, 540]


General Notes: Wife - Jane "Jennie" Drummond

from County Tyrone, Ireland

She was a daughter of Lord Drum, of England, whose estates she was heir to until she was eight years of age, when a son was born to her father, who had re-married when she was about six years of age. Her mother's maiden name was Henderson. Their remains rest in the Blairsville cemetery. [BHCIAC, 94]

She was born in Scotland, and migrated to America when eighteen years old. She was a daughter of Lord Drummond, of Drummond Castle. [HIC 1880, 540]
