General Notes: Husband - Hiram Carrier
In the year 1820 six brothers, Hiram, Darius, George, Nathan, Euphrastus and John Carrier, purchased ninety-six acres of land and all the mills at Troy, Jefferson County, Pennsylvania, they and their descendants continuing to own the same for many years, rebuilding the mills several times. He was a farmer, lumberman and merchant in Summerville, Jefferson County, Pennsylvania.
