General Notes: Husband - Oliver Cary

He was a soldier in the Revolutionary War, and was "out" seven years; was in many engagements and was wounded in the left wrist. He and ten other soldiers were taken prisoner by the Indians, and all were massacred excepting him, as he managed to escape by flight after enduring untold hardships.
