They were among the early settlers in Venango County, PA. They established their home at what later became the corner of Eleventh and Liberty streets in Franklin, and he followed his trade of blacksmith. He died quite young. [CAB, 538]
An on-line source states that he was born in Washington Co, PA.
General Notes: Wife - Lydia Adams
Her second marriage to a man named Seaton is speculative. Check CAB, 538. Another source states that it was her sister Mary who married James Seaton.
