General Notes: Husband - Capt. Benjamin Adams

He was a captain in the Continental army, was a member of the famous Boston Tea Party, and was present at the surrender at Yorktown. He died while returning from a visit to his son, Dr. Samuel Adams, in Washington.

He and his wife had ten children.
