General Notes: Husband - Judge Christian Brinker

He was reared under the parental roof, and early became familiar with all the duties that fall to the lot of the agriculturist. He acquired his education in the public schools, and then turned his attention to the pursuits to which he had been reared. He owned an excellent farm, placed his land under a high state of cultivation, and extensively engaged in stock-raising.
He served as county treasurer, and county judge, and twice represented his district in the State Legislature.
