General Notes: Husband - Leslie Todd Hunter Sweeney

He was born and educated in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania. He learned the brickmaker's trade, and after his marriage removed to Westmoreland County, settling in Derry township where, during the remainder of his life, he cultivated a small farm in connection with his trade of brickmaking.
Before the Civil War Mr. Sweeney was a Democrat, but then allied himself with the Republicans. He was a member of the Presbyterian church of Latrobe.
He died when eighty-two years old.
