General Notes: Husband - Robert Borland

He was born in County Donegal, Ireland, and coming to America, settled in 1821 in Salem township, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania. In 1831 he removed to that part of Armstrong County later known as Wayne township, and locating one mile from the borough of Dayton, took up 119 acres of land, which he farmed for the rest of his active life.
He was a member of the Protestant Episcopal Church.
