General Notes: Husband - Wilson Bowser
He had only limited educational advantages, at the country schools in East Franklin township, Armstrong County, Pennsylvania. He remained at home until he reached the age of twenty-four, and continued to farm after he began life for himself, and met with gratifying success in his undertaking. He also engaged in stock raising. He gave considerable time to public service, being supervisor of his township for three terms and school director fifteen years. In political connection he was a Democrat. He held membership in the Presbyterian Church.
