General Notes: Husband - Dr. Henry Orlady, M.D.
He obtained his preliminary education in Boalsburg Academy, Juniata Valley, Pennsylvania, and then entered Jefferson Medical College, Philadelphia, later entering Bellevue College, New York, from which he was graduated Doctor of Medicine in 1845. He began to practice in McConnellstown, Pennsylvania, remaining there about three years, when he moved to Petersburg. There he practiced until 1883, gaining a reputation as one of the county's most reliable physicians. In politics he supported the Republican platform and in religion was a Presbyterian. His fraternal relations were confined to the Masonic order.
