She married the Duke de Plaisance, son of Le Brun, one of Napoleon's colleagues in the Consulate. They resided for a time in Greece, where the Duchess, who survived her husband, died intestate, and a large estate, after a suit in the French courts, was decreed to the heirs of Richard and Eliza Willing.
