She had a mission of special importance-that of a ministering angel sent to minister to the sick, afflicted, and bereaved among her kindred,-first to her grandmother, then to her own parents, and also to her brothers and sisters. So numerous were these occasions that many years of earlier life were thus spent in the kind offices of a true sister of charity.
