General Notes: Husband - Oris Weston Beaty
He was born on the old Mead homestead three miles west of Warren, PA, and was educated in the public schools. He became associated with his father in the production of oil during the most active part of his father's business career and he also engaged in lumbering. In 1880 he made his home in Warren, where he erected a fine residence on Conewango avenue on the east side. He was prominent in business and financial circles. From 1889 until he died he was vice-president of the Warren Savings Bank. He was a member of North Star Lodge, Free Masons, and of Occidental Chapter, Royal Arch Masons. In politics he was a Republican and he had served in the city council. He was a communicant and vestryman of the Protestant Episcopal church, and active in church and benevolent work.
