General Notes: Husband - Conrad Shuey


He was a native of central Pennsylvania and came to near Greensburg, Westmoreland County, where he purchased a large farm on which he resided until his death. He was one of the garrison at Fort Wheeling, where he narrowly escaped capture by the Indians. He was an active member of the Lutheran church, a whig in politics, and lived to the age of eighty-seven years.
