He was born in County Tyrone, Ireland, and at an early age came to America. At first he lived in Philadelphia, but removed with his family to Washington County, Pennsylvania, 1780, and died there. He purchased one hundred and sixty acres and was a farmer all his life. In religion he was a Seceder.
