General Notes: Husband - Henry Scott

He was a native of the state of New York, but established his home in Pennsylvania in an early day, becoming one of the representative farmers of Clover township, Jefferson County. There he developed a fine landed estate near the borough of Summerville, and also became a pioneer civil engineer, a large amount of practical surveying work being done by him in connection with running lines in the county in the early days. He came there in the early eighteen-thirties, and continued as a citizen of the county until his death, at Summerville, when he was about fifty-two years of age.

General Notes: Wife - Roxy Wolcott

She long survived her husband, attaining to the venerable age of eighty years.
