General Notes: Husband - William Todd


He located in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, in 1780. He served in the state legislature in 1783, and for several successive years. He was also a member of the state senate for one term. He was an associate judge for several years. In 1787, he was a delegate to the convention which ratified the Federal constitution, and in 1789, to the convention which framed the first constitution of Pennsylvania

It is said that he came from the same stock from whom the Todds of Ohio and Kentucky descended, one of whom was the wife of President Abraham Lincoln.
