General Notes: Husband - Joseph L. Walter


He was born in Lebanon County, Pennsylvania, and was still a child when the family moved to Westmoreland County. He made farming the business of his life, and after his marriage purchased a farm where his son, Abraham S., later lived. The property consisted of one hundred and ten acres, which he improved and cultivated successfully. He was the owner of another farm of one hundred and twenty acres as well. He was a member of the Church of God.
He died at the age of seventy-three.
