General Notes: Husband - John Sterrett

He was one of the early settlers of the Kishacoquillas valley in Pennsylvania. He took out warrants for a large tract of land there, and began to make improvements. He cultivated the land, built a house and made other necessary additions. He saw the need of a mill in that community, and accordingly built one, on the site of Locke's Mill, and established a good business there.
