General Notes: Husband - John Stauffer
Porter Twp, Clarion Co, PA
In 1842, shortly after his marriage, he came by wagon to Clarion County, Pennsylvania, and located at what became Males School. In 1845 he purchased a farm on which J. H. Will would later reside and there erected a substantial log house and barn which were still standing into the early years of the 1900s. Ten years later, in the spring, he disposed of that estate and bought a farm of ninety-seven acres, located seven miles distant from New Bethlehem, in Clarion County. On this place he was engaged in agricultural pursuits and the raising of high-grade stock until his demise.
