General Notes: Husband - Alexander Burns

---

He came to America at an early day and settled on Montour's run, [Allegheny County, Pennsylvania,] where he subsequently owned a large tract of land.

By trade he was a cooper, and settled on a farm in Findlay township, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, prior to the Revolutionary War. He was one of the earliest settlers of the area and was a great hunter.
